Dear Steve Jobs…about Mac Keyboard

Dear Mr. Steve Jobs,

I like your Macintosh computers a lot. I'm a so called switcher from Windows/Linux systems. But there is one thing I really miss and couldn't understand:
Why didn't you print all the special characters on the keyboard? It seems a big revolution to find at least the @-sign on the newer keyboards. But what about all the other fine signs and symbols like a pipe (|), a tilde (~), all the brackets and braces ([]{}) and the like. I need all these sign regularly because I'm using some of the BSD-Features of Mac OS X and I'm a programmer.

So please Mr. Jobs take some cent and print all the major special signs on the keyboards as PC-Users have them since decades.
