who’s evil?

There are a lot of people moving from flickr to ipernity around me at the moment. Many of the german flickr-users are very upset by the lastet censorings of Yahoo! on flickr pictures.
But is it really flickr who made a mistake by adding a filter for german users because of the blurry german law? Or did we made the mistake to elect some stupid guys as government who don't understand anything about internet and who don't care about internet or computer regarding laws? They just pass those stupid laws and leave the decision to the judges.
So what would you do if you had an international website an there is the risk of being sued in germany for some guy uploading pictures of naked people?

But anyhow. Censoring is not the most innovative way of resolving this problem. And the guys at ipernity are very smart and even more kinder. Ipernity has some features flickr is missing (sound, video upload). So moving the Ipernity can also be a logical step to a more complete service.
And hey - the wrote a nice little greasemonkey script to import your flickr photos with all the tags and privacy settings.

flickr => ipernity
